Is the Internet Making It Easier to Buy and Sell Guns?

Normally, I look around the internet for websites that present money making opportunities for me and my company, T.M. Harris LLC.

Well today, I was looking up wholesaler information, since I'm into buying and selling on Ebay...and I came across a website with this description:

"New 2007 Ffl Kit To Help You Get Your Federal Firearms License And Buy Guns Wholesale. We Are A Licensed Dealer. New 2007 Update."

If you wish to visit this site to see what I'm talking about, CLICK HERE.

The idea behind this website, is that they give you the information in regards to applying to be a licensed Federal firearms dealer, so that you can get access to guns at wholesale prices. Now, this makes me think...

Isn't this website just making it easier for anyone to get their hands on guns? I understand that in the Bill of Rights under the U.S. Constitution, we have the 2nd Amendment, granting the citizens the right to bear arms. But the question remains in my mind...what about gun control?

I don't hear much from the candidates who are campaigning to be the next President of the United States talking about gun control. These people are focusing more on controlling the economy and increasing the morale of the American people.

But what good is it to have a thriving economy, when wackos can visit sites like THIS, get a license, get guns cheap, and go on a killing spree? Look at most of the people in the news. They're all wackos and psychos who are killing innocent people; and now with websites like the one I found, it's a lot easier for these nutjobs to get their hands on them.

And what about a kid in high school who gets access to their parent's credit card, orders the kit, gets guns for wholesale, and kills someone who pisses him off in school. Then they look back at the purchase record, and see that the order was placed on Daddy's credit card, and now Daddy is screwed...and yet, another life is innocently gone.

I'm not calling for an end to this website, but more or less to open people's eyes to the fact that we all talk about gun control this, gun control that, and yet the Internet is making it easier to get guns to anyone.

It's all as simple as firing up Google, typing in what you want, and you can get it. It doesn't matter whether or not it's for a good purpose or for a evil, malicious purpose...ANYTHING IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS CAN BE OBTAINED WITH A WEB BROWSER.

Be safe,
Tim
